ERSI Introductory 101s

ERSI’s Introductory 101 Courses build a foundational understanding of the Environment Rating Scale (ERS) Family of Products.

These 5-hour introductory courses focus on the structure and scoring of an individual scale (ECERS, ITERS, FCCERS, or SACERS™) and award CEUs.

Each course provides:

  • An overview of the basic needs of children and how the scale addresses them
  • A detailed explanation of the scoring system
  • Definitions of frequently-used ERS terms
  • Scoring practice with sample situations & classroom video segments
