Dr. Stephanie Curenton is a developmental psychologist and author who studies the social, cognitive, and language development of marginalized children.
Conversation Compass tackles the overuse of directives and closed-ended questions in early childhood learning environments. Access to rich, stimulating dialogue in conversation is required for children to develop language and reasoning skills.
Conversation Compass gives educators the tools to build children’s language, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through instructional peer conversations.
